Jordans Leisure and Jordans Commercial have officially been launched, allowing us to venture into new territory.
Jordans started life in the early 1900s as a bicycle retail business based in Hull's High Street before moving on to sell motorcycles and, eventually, cars and commercial vehicles. Its showroom in Witham is one of Hull's most recognisable commercial landmarks.
Jordans Leisure is a new division, supplying luxury motorhomes from our iconic showroom in Witham, featuring top brands such as Auto-Trail, Hobby and Globe Traveller and van conversions from a Rix Group brand, Victory Conversions.
Designed to make memories, mile by mile, the new range of luxury motorhomes boasts premium quality design, robust construction and plenty of creature comfort features, all within an affordable package. And it doesn’t just stop there, after training and investment into the expert team of technicians and motorhome specialists at Jordans, we can provide every new motorhome customer with high-quality habitation checks, and ceramic coating services.
This new venture perfectly aligns with our goal to enable our portfolio of businesses to collaborate, forming stronger, more sustainable businesses for future generations.
We sat down with Director Ben Hakes to discuss the transition, and what it means for Jordans in the future. He states the strategic move “would allow the Rix Group to further capitalise on the increasing demand for staycations brought about by the Covid pandemic.”

Ben added that the launch of Jordans Commercial completed the 'evolution of the Jordans brand'. He said: "Commercial vehicles have always been an important part of the Jordans story, but as demand for high quality work vehicles continues to grow, we took the strategic decision to increase our focus on this area of the business.
"With the launch of Jordans Commercial, we have increased the number of brands we can supply and service, giving us a comprehensive choice for everyone from sole traders to large fleets. This, along with the launch of Jordans Leisure, represents the future direction of the business, building on more than a century of expertise in keeping the Humber region moving."
